The Bible is an active and living document that is God-breathed. It is a powerful tool that is useful for training and guiding us in our relationship with Him and others. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
We were created in God’s image, created to be good and to do good. (Genesis 1:26-27, 31)
We have all fallen short of the good and perfect standard of God. The result of our sin is a separation from both God and eternal life. (Romans 3:23, Romans 7:18)
Despite our sin, God showed His great love by sending His Son to be a perfect and blameless sacrifice for our sin. We respond to this gift of grace through repentance, confession, and baptism. We are saved not by our own works, but by God’s great grace. (Titus 3:4-7, Romans 3:24, Matthew 28:16-20)
A true awareness of God’s glory results in a life lived in the service of God and others. We are given the gifts and abilities to glorify God in this way through the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 22:37-40, Mark 12:30-31, Galatians 5:22-23)
Jesus will return one day to welcome His people home. Until that day comes, we will continue to fulfill His commission by reaching out to a world who is searching for the Truth.
